The practice
The architecture practice operates across Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey, providing design, documentation, and construction administration services. Work ranges from custom residential to commercial and mixed-use projects, with each office handling projects under its regional building codes and permitting requirements.
The practice is directed by Alaa Farag and integrates closely with the construction division. When Farag & Co. builds, the architecture division typically provides the design and documentation, keeping the process internal from concept through construction.
External clients are served on a project basis. The practice does not operate in the United States and does not hold a U.S. architecture license. All current work is in the Middle East and Turkey.
The investment arm
The real estate arm acquires and manages properties that serve the group’s development pipeline. This is not a brokerage and does not provide real estate services to external clients. Acquisitions are made to support construction projects, hold land for future development, or house operational facilities.
In the U.S., real estate activity supports the construction division’s residential projects in Oregon and Texas. Internationally, it supports development in Saudi Arabia and Egypt where the company has active construction operations.
All real estate decisions are made in coordination with the construction and architecture divisions, keeping acquisition, design, and build within the same organization.

How we design
Design for region
Every project responds to its climate, culture, and building code. What works in Riyadh does not work in Cairo or Istanbul.
Draw what can be built
Design is constrained by what the construction division can execute. This keeps projects buildable and budgets honest.
Solve program before facade
Floor plans, circulation, and spatial relationships are resolved before exterior expression. The building works before it looks good.
Deliver documentation
Construction documents are the product. The practice is measured by the quality and completeness of its drawing sets, not renderings.
